Introduction

NeuxScience® is a trademarked specialised software as a service platform of Neux Ltd, designed for the computational modelling of working memory, executive functions, and related higher order cognitive constructs. By accessing or using the Platform, whether as a researcher, clinician, institutional user, study participant, or client organisation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Definitions

“Platform”

The NeuxScience® software as a service platform.

“Higher Order Cognitive Constructs”

Working memory, executive functions, cognitive control, decision making, and related neurocognitive processes.

“EEG”

Electroencephalography.

“VR”

Virtual reality.

“Content”

Any data, information, models, simulations, tasks, assessments, interventions, or other materials submitted, uploaded, or generated through the Platform.

1Account Registration and Access

1.1 Account Creation. To access the Platform, Users must create an Account by providing accurate, complete, and current Registration Data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

1.2 Account Security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account credentials and for all activities that occur under their Account.

1.3 Eligibility. The Platform is intended for use by researchers, clinicians, and institutions engaged in legitimate scientific research. Users must be at least 18 years of age.

1.4 User Roles. The Platform supports multiple user roles with different access permissions.

2Platform Functionality

2.1 Core Services. Design and deployment of cognitive tasks and experimental paradigms; collection of behavioural performance metrics and neurophysiological data (EEG and VR); computational modelling and simulation of cognitive architectures; empirical validation of cognitive models; deployment of adaptive cognitive interventions and assessment tools.

2.2 Integration. The Platform supports integration with EEG equipment and VR environments. Users are responsible for ensuring compatibility of their hardware with the Platform specifications.

2.3 Service Availability. The Company uses reasonable endeavours to maintain the Platform’s availability.

4Intellectual Property

4.1 Company Intellectual Property. The Platform, including its software, user interface, documentation, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of the Company.

4.2 User Ownership. Users retain full ownership of all intellectual property they create using the Platform, including cognitive architectures, algorithms, models, simulations, tasks, experimental paradigms, and research data.

4.4 Anonymisation. The Company may anonymise Content for research and analytical purposes.

7Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

7.1 Research Use Only. The Platform is provided for research purposes only. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the Platform is not intended for clinical diagnostic, therapeutic, or regulatory submission purposes.

7.4 Research Outcomes. The Company is not responsible for the validity, accuracy, or reliability of any research outcomes or conclusions derived from use of the Platform.
