DESIGN CHECK (test, delete): Experimental Paradigm Engineering
NeuxScience® 1 min read
Custom cognitive tasks may be designed, programmed, and deployed to address specific experimental or clinical research objectives. The platform supports flexible task architectures adaptable to diverse cognitive domains and methodological requirements.
The platform facilitates the collection of behavioural performance metrics including response latencies, accuracy rates, and error profiles concurrently with neurophysiological data. Data streams from EEG and VR environments are synchronised within a unified acquisition pipeline.
Cognitive architectures representing latent neurocognitive processes can be formally specified, simulated, and subjected to empirical validation. Model parameters are estimated from observed data, and simulated outputs are tested against behavioural and neural outcomes to evaluate competing theoretical frameworks.
Validated computational models may be operationalised as adaptive cognitive training regimens or standardised clinical assessment instruments for subsequent deployment in research protocols or applied clinical contexts.
